Get Involved

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio (OCAO) is an advocate for those affected by ovarian cancer. A non-profit organization committed to raising awareness among women, healthcare providers and the greater community regarding the early warning signs of ovarian cancer, we raise funds locally to further our mission to promote early detection to improve outcomes and help save lives.

If you would like to join us in the battle against ovarian cancer, there are a number of ways you can help. Contact one of the following committees to find out how you can get involved

Outreach & Awareness Committee

The Outreach & Awareness Committee works to raise ovarian cancer awareness within the community. They also work to plan events to allow survivors and families to network and meet one another and to receive new and vital information about ovarian cancer research.

If you would like more information or would like to join this committee, please contact outreach@ocao.org or contact Bev Epps at bepps@ocao.org.

Education Committee

The Education Committee works to provide the public with information on ovarian cancer's symptoms as well as what increases a woman's risk of developing the disease.

If you would like more information or would like to join this committee, please contact info@ocao.org.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is charged with the accounting and record keeping of the OCAO's funds. They work to ensure that money is utilized properly and meets the standards under which the OCAO was incorporated.

5K Walk - Run Committee

Gala Committee

The Gala Committee works to plan the OCAO's annual Hope Gala. The Gala is not only a major fundraising event for the OCAO, but an opportunity to raise awareness about ovarian cancer within the entrepreneurial and business communities.
