Reveal Hope 2011

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio held its 2nd annual gala entitled "Take of the Mask & Reveal Hope. The evening featured a masquerade theme and took place at the Medallion Country Club on April 2nd, emceed by Monica Day of WCMH Channel 4.

Over 200 guests enjoyed dinner and cocktails, live music provided by The Arnett Howard Band and participated in a silent and live auction.

Dr. Christopher Lutman of OhioHealth spoke about his work in the field of gynecological oncology and what the women he has worked with have taught him. And the annual Teal Spotlight Award for excellence in raising awareness, advocating and support of those with ovarian cancer was presented to the Clifford family (Curt, Mary, Tyler and Caitlin) honoring Courtney Clifford for her work to raise awareness. Courtney passed away in February of 2011.

A fun night was had by all and over $27,000 was raised to help further the OCAO's mission.
